Everyone is welcome at Words of Light Church. At Words of Light Church, we believe:
- We believe the Bible is the only infallible and authoritative written Word of God.
- We believe there is only one God, eternally existent in three persons; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost.
- We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ. We believe in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, His miracles, His substitutionary work on the cross, His bodily resurrection from the dead, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His future return to earth in power and glory to rule a thousand years.
- We believe that because of the fall of man that man’s only hope of redemption is through faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ.
- We believe in water baptism by immersion.
- We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues.
- We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling enables the Christian to live a holy life.
- We believe in the blessed hope–the rapture of the Church at Christ’s coming.
In the Christian’s life, spiritual growth comes from a relationship with God. As we draw near to the Father, He will most certainly draw near to us. It is in this nearness that we learn who He is and what He will become in us….
