Reverend Linda L. Adkins has been in ministry for over 45 years and has led Words of Light Church for over 42 years. She and her husband Howard are the founding Pastors of Words of Light Church, guiding it from a home mission work to a thriving and rapidly growing church in Jacksonville, Florida.

Linda’s ministry focuses on teaching believers how to apply the principles of the Kingdom of God for spiritual transformation. Her practical insights encourage listeners to “get yourself off your hands,” promoting active and engaged faith.

As a mentor to other leaders and those called into the “ministry”, Linda’s influence extends beyond the pulpit. Her book, “The Character of Diamonds in a World of Glass,” has inspired many, and her teachings have been transformed into songs by various songwriters. Linda has also contributed her own songs to the ministry.

Linda and her high school sweetheart, Howard, celebrate 62 years of marriage. They are blessed with three children, seven grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
