He Who Has Ears to Hear, Let Him Hear: What Jesus Meant (Prayer Warfare, Part 2)

“Prayer Warfare”

Part 2

In prayer warfare, some are willing for the Word to be preached to them, but they don’t seem to understand the value of hearing the Word, to the point that you can understand anything that concerns the kingdom.  In Mark chapter four, Jesus kept saying, “If any man has ears to hear let him be listening and let him perceive and comprehend.”  He said to them, “Be careful what you are hearing. The measure [of thought and study] you give [to the truth you hear] will be the measure [of virtue and knowledge] that comes back to you—and more [besides] will be given to you who hear.”  If we don’t give heed to all that the Holy Spirit is giving to us through teaching, we will find ourselves in loss.  Jesus went on to say, “For to him who has will more be given; and from him who has nothing, even what he has will be taken away [by force].”

I choose to hear,  listen,  comprehend,  perceive, and receive all the virtues and knowledge there are in the truth.  I will set myself before the Word of the Living God and I will have ears to hear.  The precious things that  the  Holy  Spirit  has been giving to us will not be ignored as far as I am concerned.  I see the measure of hearing denotes the measure of knowledge and truth that works for us.  And I know that you choose this as well and together we will see and experience the power and glory of our God—Amen.
