“Our Heart” Part 2

There is much in the Scripture concerning our heart it’s rightness or un-rightness. It is the holding place for everything that enters or leaves our lives. We have the ability to open our heart to wisdom and apply it to understanding so we may keep that which the Lord commands of us. If we are wise, it is in the heart the heart is where we retain wisdom. If we keep our heart with all diligence, we are then able to keep out lust, envy, pride, and sin. Everything that touches our spirit filters through our heart. It is in the heart that we apply instruction, study answers, increase in knowledge, and if we are merry and happy it is from the heart.

The Scriptures tell us to do things with our “whole heart.” This practice will keep us from doing things half-hearted. Half-hearted attempts are easily spotted and felt we see and feel the intentions of others with our heart.

Let this month of May be “Heart” month. For the entire month, do everything you do with the understanding that it is coming from your whole heart. See, hear, listen, and do with all consciousness from the whole of your heart, and everything you do will increase and be better. I know that this effort will please our Father who made our hearts
