May Birthday Prayer

Our prayer for you is because you have been as the husbandman that awaits for the precious fruit of the earth and have had long patience for it, until you have received the early and the latter rain and you have established your heart for the coming of the Lord preparing to be moved from glory to glory to an inheritance incorruptible, undefiled that fades not away, reserved in heaven for you, you will be kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. For our God is for you so who can be against you? Who shall lay anything to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifies, and through all things you are more than conquerors by Him who loves you. For this purpose you have been raised up that God might show His power in you and that His Name might be declared throughout all the earth. For He will finish the work according as His divine power has given unto you all things that pertains to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that hath called us to glory and virtue whereby are given unto you great and precious promises that by these you might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is the world though lust.

Your heart believes unto righteousness, and your mouth confesses salvation. The Word is nigh you even in your mouth and is in your heart by faith. Give all diligence, by adding to your faith virtue; and to your virtue knowledge; and to knowledge temperance, and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; and to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness love. Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil, cleave to that which is good. Be kindly affectionate one to another, not slothful but rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, and continuing to be instant in prayer. Be of the same mind one toward another, for love works not ill toward his neighbor. So if these things be in you and abound, they make you that you shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Now the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded one to another according to Jesus Christ that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, and the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. God is faithful by whom you were called unto the fellowship of His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, that by His Spirit, He will reveal unto you the “deep things” revealing the treasure in you, His earthen vessels. Now grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior. Amen.
