“Strength from Joy”

Part 2

 Philippians chapter 1:9-10 is some powerful Scriptures and very enlightening in the Amplified Bible.  Paul writes, “And this I pray that your love may abound yet more and more and extend to its fullest development in knowledge and  all  keen  insight [that your love may display itself in greater depth of acquaintance and more comprehensive discernment].  So that you may surely learn to sense what is vital, and approve and prize what is excellent and of real value (recognizing the highest and the best, and distinguishing the moral differences), and that you may be untainted and pure and unerring and blameless (so that with hearts sincere and certain and unsullied, you may approach), the day of Christ (not stumbling or causing others to stumble).”

How powerful is this love of God, which He placed, within our hearts by the Holy Spirit?  And not only does the Lord give this powerful love, but also there are many things  that  have  come  with  it.  Things  such  as comprehensive discernment, and the ability to sense and recognize all things that is vital.  Not everyone has this ability either because they don’t know that it’s available or they simply have no interest in pursuing all that the Father God has made available to them.  In verse :11 Paul goes on to say, “May you abound in and be filled with the fruits of righteousness (of right standing with God and right doing) which come through Jesus Christ (the Anointed One), to the honor and praise of God [that His glory may be both manifested and recognized]. Let us take full hold of this powerful love of God and the strengthening energy of His joy.  If we do, we will not give the enemy of all righteousness any opportunity or opening to   move  against  us  with  impending destruction…Amen.
